Samples of Our Music

An awesome, awesome job! As you know, I was worried that the band would not get everybody dancing, as our guest list ran the gamut from 25 through 85 years of age. I was really concerned. But your band not only pulled it off, you rocked the house! You had just the right mix of music, and you weren't too loud either. I could not believe watching25 July, 2010t out with the 25 year olds. Quite a site, and something few bands could do. We've had lots of compliments. Thank you so much for making the party!

Jessica Pratt, New York

Rock & Roll, Modern Pop, Or Techno Rock!

As we rock down the house, we are a great rock band. We can keep strictly to the Rock and Pop classics if that's what you are looking for, but we do not have to be your typical Top 40, Pop or Society band. Talking strictly rock, our music spans from the classic Rock & Roll favorites and Pop, to top 40, Disco, your slower love songs, and even the more complex tunes that are far too risky for most bands to try. (For example, you won't get most bands to attempt Spinning Wheel or Come Sail Away.) Nexus has seasoned players, some of whom have been playing Rock & Roll for over 30 years. Depending on what you are looking for, we can either rock it down, play more Pop than Rock, or...if you want...get a bit more out of pocket (for those of you looking to get away from the typical Top 40 you hear at so many parties). The choice is yours.

Rock & Roll...And Pop...Rockin' Down The House

We are a Rock & Roll band, and are known to rock down the house with the Rock classics as well as more modern Pop! The party is our trademark. Our diversity helps make the party, because we can cater to your needs!

Rock & Roll...And More...A Very Eclectic Band!

We are flexible. Would diversity beyond Rock & Roll make your party even better? If this interests you, we can accommodate. Our diversity and flexibility allows us to cater to requests of a broad nature...even beyond Rock & Roll. If you have any interest in this, at your request we can easily play a variety of other styles, including (believe it or not) Jazz, Swing and Latin, (see some of the Jazz sound samples below.) So..., why do we play all of this music and still call ourselves a Rock band? Why are we able to change faces so easily? Simple. We offer this option because we are good at it, and because we can do the variety so well, why not offer you the flexibility if it helps you make your event even more special and successful. You basically gain the benefits of two bands for the price of one and thus can entertain guests who may enjoy dancing and partying to a wider variety of music. This is just an option.

Take a listen to some of the sound clips provided below. Note that in order to demonstrate our diversity, we have included a few swing Jazz sample
