It has become very common and trendy for the band to be asked to play Rock & Roll in addition
to
Klezmer, for at least part of an event. In fact, we play many engagements where people hire us
as a
Klezmer band for our amazing Hora sets, yet for most of the event, the focus is on Rock & Roll (or Swing).
We
love the diversity, and our clients are amazed at the quality of the music, as the band is so good
at
both! In fact, we are so good at this, we have been mistaken for a cover band on more than one
occasion. People are surprised to find one band so good at such a vast and varying repertoire.
We invite you to listen to the three MP3's below for yourself and see what the rave is all
about!
With repertoire that spans klezmer, Israeli, swing, jazz, and great rock & roll, we do it all and do it well. You can find more sound samples by going to our music sound samples page. So,
if you
have an event where you are looking for a complete Jewish theme, or if you want it mixed with
Rock
and Roll, you can get the best of both worlds, as the Kol Haruach band can rock the house with
either
music!
Dance instruction, and interaction with the crowd: Does your guest list include those who might not be as familiar with Israeli or klezmer music? Are you looking for dance instruction or games to entertain at a kids party? We can provide a professional dance instructor/game leader for just these occasions.
What we play and how we dress are completely up to you!
Available as 3 - 7 musicians. Using fewer musicians for just Klezmer is great and you’ll have a memorable party. But to make it really rock out, you need to add as many pieces as your budget will allow. The full band is totally amazing and has been featured on many venues such as NPR.

It’s a tall order to go from klezmer to Israeli, to swing, to rock, but Kol Haruach pulled it off seamlessly. The large dance floor was full to the brim. We got so many compliments on the band's excellent musicianship and vocalists.
